Jim Nite, Pastor

Jim is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM) and Gordon-Conwell Seminary (DMin). Jim enjoyed studying the languages of the Bible, majoring in Old Testament and Hebrew, while also emphasizing New Testament Greek. Jim's passion is explaining the Bible to those who may have only limited exposure to its message, and showing the Bible's timeless relevance to everyday life. Jim is married to Sue (who serves as the Director of Christian Education) and has three sons, Micah, Noah and Don (who joined the family at the age of 10). Jim enjoys long walks, travel, and any time with his family. He is also a really poor skier, but loves mountains and snow.

Derek Newbery, Associate Pastor

Derek is a graduate of California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo and Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM). He is responsible for Connection Groups, our small groups ministry. Derek grew up in San Diego, California as a pastor’s kid. He has a heart for seeing people understand the depth of God’s love for them and the fullness of life God promises to all of his followers. Derek enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Courtney, and watching and playing sports, particularly baseball. Derek’s favorite teams, including those he played for, have never won a championship; he says he can relate to anyone still waiting to win the big game. |

Tom Powidzki, Director of Youth Ministries

Tom graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University with a degree in Bible and pastoral ministries. He completed his master's in counseling from Biblical Seminary in Hatfield, PA. He oversees Student Ministries, which encompasses the middle and high school programs of the church. Tom has more than two decades of experience in full-time youth ministry. Tom is committed to both vibrant student ministry and following after the Savior. Tom and his wife, Sharon, have four children: Jenna, Kyle, Rachael, and Tara. Tom also enjoys watching and participating in a variety of sports.

Sue Nite, Director of Christian Education

Sue has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Bible and pursued graduate studies at Texas Woman's University. She has been the Director of Music and Christian Education for nearly two decades. and has taught in both public and private schools. She loves working with children and teaching Bible stories (she is a great story teller). Sue's responsibilities include the children's programs (Sunday School, Children's Chapel, Awana, and VBS). She enjoys concerts, hosting dinners at her home, any time she can spend with her three sons, and browsing through secondhand shops. |

Todd Henderson, Worship Leader

Todd attended the University of North Florida in Jacksonville where he was actively involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship as a worship leader and small group Bible study leader. Todd leads Sunday morning worship music and assists Tom with youth programs. In Todd's free time he enjoys going to concerts, watching movies and sports, playing and writing music, riding his bike, reading—and
spending
time with his lovely new bride,
Hope.

Sarah Naples, Director of Ministry Volunteers

Sarah is a graduate of Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL with a degree in Journalism and minors in English and Bible. She focuses on the Serve area of our church strategy, involving volunteers in effective ministries both within and outside of the church. She oversees the college ministry, the Senior Fellowship group and also keeps the website looking pretty. Sarah enjoys discussing anything of spiritual significance, reading good books, and playing ultimate Frisbee.
